Ingredients:
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter (I use creamy!)
- 7 cups cornflakes
Instructions:
- Bring corn syrup and sugar to a boil in medium saucepan. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Mix well.
- Gradually add cornflakes, constantly stirring.
- Spread mixture into parchment-lined 9×13 pan. Let cool.
- Cut mixture into squares or bite-size pieces.

I haven’t made anything with cornflakes since my kiddies were young but I do like the idea of using peanut butter I’m sure the grandkids would love these 🙂

I haven’t had these in years, and I’d forgotten about them, Marlena. A very dear friend who passed away used to make these and bring them into the office. I should bake some in her honor this year.
