Live your life…

Author’s note: I began this article in 2019. I’m not sure why I never posted it. But this past week, the past few weeks actually, have been hard. My mental health has taken some damage. I was glad to see this post and re-read it. Today, 10/9/21, I’m posting it. Above all else, remember how important you are. It’s not always about money or what anyone else things. It’s about your well-being, your day-to-day life. It’s yours to do how you see fit.

Growing up and to today, I’ve always been told that no one is truly happy with their job. There will always be drama, bad days, things you don’t like. I wholeheartedly disagree. Life, in general, will have bad days. Days where you feel blah, not your best, off your game. Days that are a little more difficult. I feel, though, that everyone has a specific job they are meant for. Something that could potentially make them incredibly happy. Something that his/her talents are perfect for. A job where the good always outweighs the bad. Where our passions and way of life combine.

Just look at the younger generations. People are living satisfying and fruitful lives by doing what they love, what they are destined for. Traveling, writing, helping people. I’ve seen fitness gurus, bloggers, freelancers, photographers, life coaches, and so on.

It is possible to love your job. To not have the drama or the BS. To use your passions and not be miserable. It’s all about what you want more in life. Sometimes the pay isn’t quite enough, or the location isn’t what you were planning on. Maybe you need to start fresh in a new state or even new country. Maybe you feel like you’re better off staying where you are, working the office life. Maybe you can handle the drama. Maybe the rest of your life is too ideal to start over.

It’s ultimately your decision. You decide what matters and what doesn’t. You decide how you want to live your life, the path you want to take. No one can make that decision for you. And you shouldn’t allow anyone to make you feel guilty for living your life as you see fit. Take action for you. Live your life.
